San Cisco will bring their Miles Away Regional Tour to Mackay this November as the Fremantle indie-pop group returns to regional stages.
The band will perform at McGuires on Thursday, 19 November. The Mackay show comes one night after the opening regional tour date in Rockhampton.
The tour marks San Cisco’s first run of shows in more than two years. Jordi Davieson, Josh Biondillo and Scarlett Stevens will return to performing together, with Stevens back on the drums as a new mum.
Why It Matters
The Mackay show will give fans a chance to hear familiar San Cisco favourites alongside fresh material. The band said it was eager to return to regional towns along the East Coast.
“We are so ready to get out on the road and visit some of our fave regional towns on the East Coast! We’ve got a small selection of fresh tracks to throw in the mix including our soon to be released single ‘Miles Away’! We can’t wait to have a singalong and dance with you all! Let’s party! We’ve missed you all dearly.”
The tour will include new songs alongside tracks fans have missed hearing live.
Local Impact
Mackay is one of the Queensland stops included in Part 1 of the Miles Away Regional Tour.
Following the Rockhampton show, San Cisco will perform at McGuires in Mackay. The band will then continue north to The Warehouse in Townsville and The Jack in Cairns.

The regional tour takes its name from San Cisco’s forthcoming single Miles Away. The track follows the band’s 2024 album Under The Light.
Jordi Davieson said the song explores the experience of loving someone while feeling an emotional distance developing.
“’Miles Away’ is a song about being together, but alone, loving someone deeply while feeling them retreat somewhere you cannot follow. But don’t worry – it’s all wrapped up in a sugary pop song so it’s easy to swallow!”
San Cisco will combine fresh tracks with established favourites during the regional shows.

San Cisco blend indie rock, pop and alternative influences, with their catalogue including tracks such as Awkward and Run.
Outside the regional tour, the band’s schedule includes Savannah in the Round Festival in Mareeba on 9 October. They will also play Community Live in Melbourne on 29 October and Freo Beerfest in Fremantle on 14 November.
After the Queensland leg, Part 1 will continue with shows in Newcastle, Wollongong and Canberra.
