From July 12 to July 14, the Great Keppel Island Hideaway will come alive with the sounds of country music as the Country on Keppel festival kicks off its fifth year.
The event promises an exciting lineup featuring top Australian country artists like Casey Barnes and Beccy Cole, ensuring a musical experience that caters to all tastes.

This year’s festival, as described by General Manager Kelly Harris, offers a rich variety of country music genres, from traditional and contemporary to singer-songwriter and alt-country.
The festival’s structure allows visitors to enjoy either day tickets or three-day packages, making it accessible to all music enthusiasts.
Friday Night: Beccy Cole Takes the Stage
The festivities begin on Friday with the Green Brothers Country on Keppel Peter Blundell Memorial Talent Search at 3 pm. Five finalists will compete, followed by performances from Kate Mahood and Brad Butcher.
The night will reach its peak with Beccy Cole headlining at 7.30 pm. Today’s Country 94One will broadcast live from the island, adding an extra layer of excitement for attendees.
Saturday: Casey Barnes Headlines
Saturday promises another full day of music, starting with the talent search winner’s performance in the morning.
The day’s lineup includes artists like Keely Ellen, Chloe Styler, and James Blundell, culminating with Casey Barnes headlining at 7.30 pm. Local band Coighty and the Kickstands will ensure the party continues well into the night.
A Laidback Sunday Finale
The festival wraps up on Sunday with a more relaxed, acoustic atmosphere. Performers like Chloe Styler, Brad Butcher, and Danny Phegan will provide the perfect backdrop for a laidback day, with James Blundell closing the event.
