Why It Matters?

The Australia Day Awards highlight the dedication, creativity, and service of Mackay region residents and groups who have made a positive impact on their communities.

Introducing a new category dedicated to access and inclusion underscores the region’s commitment to recognising diversity and breaking barriers for those with disabilities.
