What’s happening?
A new adults-only show called LASSÙ is touring Queensland, bringing a cosmic Cabaret to the east coast. It is set in a saloon at the edge of the galaxy. Space cowboys, alien drifters and the Rodeo Sisters perform daring acts. The show follows Rodeo Clown Rusty as he relives the golden days of LASSÙ and tries to revive the magic of the saloon. Audiences will be seated under a bespoke big top for an intimate view of every act.
LASSÙ will run from 18 July to 27 July at the Showgrounds in Mackay. It will then run from 1 August to 23 August at Central Park in Townsville.
“Climb aboard the rocket ship – you will love the journey,” said Scenestr in praise of the show.
Seventh-generation circus performer and producer Merrik Ashton said, “Adding North Lakes, Mackay and Townsville to our Lassu Queensland tour is incredibly exciting.
