Brace yourselves, Mackay! After a triumphant sell-out in 2023, Legends on The Lawn is set to rock Harrup Park once again on Saturday, 1 June 2024, with an electrifying line-up featuring some of Australia’s music royalty.

The iconic all-Australian roster includes ICEHOUSE, Jet, Jon Stevens, Pete Murray, Baby Animals, 1927, and Bachelor Girl. With tickets on sale from 9:00 am QLD time on Thursday, 14 March 2024, anticipation is soaring.

Following last year’s phenomenal success, Mackay Mayor Greg Williamson expressed his excitement about the return of Legends on The Lawn, calling attention to the star-studded cast.

“With Australian music royalty like ICEHOUSE, Jet, Jon Stevens, and Pete Murray, alongside crowd favourites Baby Animals and 1927, it’s set to be an epic live music event,” Mayor Williamson remarked.

Featuring a career spanning over 45 years, ICEHOUSE is an iconic band with an impressive record of 28 platinum albums and over 30 Top 40 singles.

Their anthem, “Great Southern Land” is a timeless classic, deeply embedded in the Australian cultural fabric.

Jet, hailing from Melbourne, achieved global success with their 2003 debut album ‘Get Born,’ reaching 10x Platinum certification in Australia and Platinum in the USA and UK.

Recognised as legends at the 37th ARIA Awards in 2023, their return promises to be a highlight of the festival.

A Nostalgic Journey with Aussie Rock Legends

Jon Stevens, with a career spanning four decades, is set to captivate audiences with the Noiseworks & INXS Collection.

Pete Murray, having sold over 1.2 million records, boasts 3 ARIA chart-topping albums, while The Baby Animals and 1927 revisit their iconic pasts, promising a nostalgic journey for fans.

Bachelor Girl, a beloved Australian act from the 90s and early 2000s, adds another layer of nostalgia with their exceptional songwriting and powerful vocals.
