What’s happening? Two talented Mackay students, Leo Gorrion and Ebony Wright, have been awarded significant bursaries to support their artistic pursuits. The $3,000 Jack Sturgeon Bursary, sponsored by the Friends of the MECC, will help Leo pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production) at the University of Melbourne. Ebony Wright, the recipient of the $3,000 Artspace Mackay Foundation Bursary, is studying a Bachelor of Visual Art at Griffith University. Why it matters?
